Shabana FC has announced that the long-promised modern team bus donated by President William Ruto will be delivered within the next two to three months, marking a major boost for the FKF Premier League side.

In an update shared on Thursday, December 4, 2025, the club confirmed that all payments for the bus have been fully completed. The chassis—imported to meet the specifications requested by the President—has already arrived in the country, allowing the final body-building phase to begin.

Procurement Now on Track

“After making a special request to His Excellency the President for support in acquiring a decent and modern sports bus, he graciously accepted and facilitated the entire procurement process through East Africa Motors. At the time, no chassis meeting the required specifications was immediately available,” the club’s statement explained.

Shabana added that all documentation, including the job card, order form, and payment agreement, has been signed and confirmed, assuring fans that the process is now in its final stages.

Club Thanks President Ruto

The club expressed deep gratitude to President Ruto for the donation, describing it as a show of confidence in a team with one of the largest fan bases in the country.

Ruto first pledged to gift Shabana FC a new team bus in August 2025, just as the team prepared to kick off the new FKF Premier League season. The commitment was later reaffirmed in a statement by club Secretary General Elizaphan Kerama on August 15, 2025.

In its latest communication, Shabana reiterated its appreciation:
“On behalf of the entire Shabana family—our players, technical bench, management, and millions of fans—we extend our heartfelt thank you to President William Ruto for accepting to gift us a brand-new modern team bus.”
