KICD Announces 18 Job Vacancies, Calls for Applications

The Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD) has opened applications for 18 middle and senior-level positions, inviting qualified Kenyans to apply before Monday, March 3.

In an official announcement on its website, KICD outlined the application process, requiring interested candidates to submit:

  • An application letter
  • Academic and professional certificates
  • Testimonials
  • An updated curriculum vitae
  • A copy of the national ID card

These documents should be addressed to the Director/Chief Executive Officer of KICD. Applicants must also provide their contact details, including a mobile number, and the names and addresses of two referees.

  1. Chief Principal Curriculum Development Officer (Primary Education) – Master’s degree in education, 12 years of experience
  2. Chief Principal Curriculum Development Officer (Secondary Education) – Master’s degree in education, 12 years of experience
  3. Deputy Director, Internal Audit – Master’s degree in finance or a related field, 15 years of experience
  4. Assistant Director, Legal Services – Master of Laws degree, 12 years of experience
  5. Assistant Director, Supply Chain Management – Master’s degree in logistics or business administration, 12 years of experience
  6. Senior Principal Curriculum Development Officer (Religious Education) – Master’s degree in education, 10 years of experience
  7. Senior Principal Curriculum Development Officer (Creative Arts, Primary Education) – Master’s degree in education, 10 years of experience
  8. Senior Principal Curriculum Development Officer (Mathematics, Secondary Education) – Master’s degree in education, 10 years of experience
  9. Senior Principal Curriculum Development Officer (English, Primary Education) – Master’s degree in education, 10 years of experience
  10. Principal ICT Officer – Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or information science, 8 years of experience
  11. Senior Curriculum Development Officer (Physical Education, Secondary Education) – Bachelor’s degree in physical education, 4 years of experience
  12. Senior Curriculum Development Officer (French, Secondary Education) – Bachelor’s degree in education (French), 4 years of experience
  13. Senior Curriculum Development Officer (Mathematics, Secondary Education) – Bachelor’s degree in education (Mathematics), 4 years of experience
  14. Senior Security Officer – Bachelor’s degree in criminology, 6 years of experience
  15. Principal Studio Technical Operator – Degree in mass communication or media studies, 4 years of relevant experience
  16. Curriculum Development Officer (Theatre & Film, Secondary Education) – Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  17. Curriculum Development Officer (Hindu Religious Education) – Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  18. Curriculum Development Officer (Christian Religious Education, Primary Education) – Bachelor’s degree in education (CRE), 4 years of experience
